As I wrote in the last post, the two first of weeks of May was spent mixing the album. Then I went several rounds of critical listening and got some very valuable feedback from a couple of guys. After countless hours in my studio, the last mixdown was done a week ago. The job of mixing this album has been both enjoyable and challenging, but I am very pleased with the result. Today I went to Lydmuren Studios in Østfold, Norway to master the album with engineer Rune Johansen. He also did the mastering on «Directions». It is such a joy working with Rune! He has a very musical aproch to the mastering job and the result sounds very good.
The album will not be out until mid September, but in a couple of weeks, I will present the artwork and start releasing some audioclips and teasers. Stay tuned.
