…on a new album! During the last 8 months I have written a lot of music. Some of it is rubbish of course, but after some rounds of critical listening, I found I had 8 tracks I was very happy with.
Two weeks ago I spent two days with the wonderful engineer Kristoffer Bonsaksen in Propeller Music Division in Oslo, laying down the drum tracks. It’s such a nice studio, with both vintage and state of the art modern gear. We managed to capture a big, very organic and live drum sound.
Last weekend bass player Axel Toreg Reite came over and played on a couple of songs. It sounded fantastic. The recording will continue the following months and if all goes according to plan, we can see a new Pymlico album sometimes next year.
Needless to say, I am super excited about this new project. Stay tuned for updates.
